November/December 2020 update

December 30, 2020 by Stephen Nichols

The last 2 months have been very busy and full on.

At the beginning of November I fitted 3 solid oak doors (complete with linings and architrave) to a bathroom and 2 ensuites at Turnham Green in Thorpe st Andrew, in readiness for their complete refit.

I then returned to High Street, Mundesley, to complete a utility room with works that included worktops, wall tiling, plumbing in a Belfast sink, and 3 new oak doors, as well as fitting oak flooring to the existing kitchen.

I also returned to West Acre Drive to complete the new kitchen refit when the delayed appliances arrived, as well as fitting colour matched glass splashbacks above the sink and hob.

December saw the beginning of a utility room refit at Wilkinson Way, North Walsham. The utility room was completely stripped and new wiring plus insulated flooring/walls/ceiling fitted, and the room re-plastered. New windows and back door were also fitted.

I am very pleased with the number of new enquiries generated by my Facebook page as well as by this website, and am already booked for work through to March 2021 which is great.

I wish you all a very normal New Year (well, normal for Norfolk, as they say!)

Another busy month has flown past as this month saw a complete kitchen re-fit at West Acre Drive, Old Catton.

The existing kitchen was stripped out, wall and floor tiles removed, rewired and replastered.

Magnet kitchen units, worktops and upstands were then fitted. New flooring has been laid. Just waiting for the delayed built-in  appliances in order to complete the modernisation of this kitchen.

An insulated raised floor storage area was also completed in the loft following the rewire.

A very nice and busy month was spent at the High Street, Mundesley. Following last months strip out of the existing bathroom, the new one has now been completed: the works included new ceiling, re-plastered walls and ceiling, T& G boarding, tiled floors (including partly raised floor), fitting all new sanitary ware, tiled shower, sun tunnel and spot lights.

June/July 2020 update

August 5, 2020 by Stephen Nichols

As the Covid lockdown lifts, I have been pleasantly surprised at the number of new enquiries for work, resulting in the diary currently being full until early November.

Croft Green, Attleborough has now been fully completed as kitchen units, worktops, doors, lounge alterations, decorating, flooring and carpets finish this wonderful job.

For lots more photos of the work at Croft Green from beginning to end, click here. And for a selection of the many photos taken by the client please see here. There is also a very complimentary review that can be seen on my testimonials page. I’m very proud to have worked on the project.

I’ve also completed a weeks work at Happisburgh for a Norwich bathroom and kitchen company and built in an airing cupboard to a Catton bathroom.

The removal of an existing conservatory, groundworks, brickwork and pad for a new larger conservatory at Hawthorne Rise in Mundesley got me back to working more locally.

The replacement of 9 internal oak doors and oak glazed doors, as well as sliding screens to form a new hall cupboard at Anne Close, Thorpe St Andrew, complete 2 very busy months work.
