June 2019 update

The month of June started with finishing off the new built-in wardrobes at Banningham, and mirror screen wardrobes at Grange Close in Hoveton.

 

I have been successful in gaining future works which include new wardrobes and interior at Skeyton Road, North Walsham (in August) as well as 2 extensions, a front porch, and other alterations to a home in Attleborough (from September onwards).

I have also completed a number of works for a Norwich bathroom and kitchen company, including replacing a bathroom window in Drayton, fitting a new bathroom door complete in Dickleburgh, re-hanging a bathroom door (to open out) in Caister St Edmund, as well as fitting new drains and decking at Proctor Road, Sprowston.

May 2019 update

May 1st saw me taking delivery of my brand new shiny black Renault Trafic van. Or, to be more accurate, the wife took delivery of it, as I was out at work! The van has now been sign written, and I have fitted a roof rack, seat covers, and racking to the interior, all on my few days off in between jobs.

I’ve completed a number of works for a Norwich bathroom and kitchen company, including cutting a new doorway into a block wall and fitting timber studwork to form a new family bathroom at Douglas Close, Catton. Also top and bottom panels to finish off wardrobes at Borton Road, Blofield Heath; cutting and fitting shower wall panels to a bathroom in Great Witchingham; fitting a new soil pipe to a bathroom at Thorpe Road, Norwich.

I have also repaired a chimney at Somerset Way, Taverham, and am currently fitting new wardrobes to a bedroom in Banningham.

April 2019 update

Work continued to be very busy throughout the month of April and I have also been picking up lots of local enquiries for door and kitchen fitting.

The main job was the completion of a fitted kitchen, units and worktops to a conservatory and the removal of a brick fire surround and hearth at Merton Road, Watton.

I also replaced internal door handles, bathroom locks, front door handles and letter plate at Christchurch Road, as well as cutting and fitting skirtings to a bedroom in St Williams Way.

I’ve supplied and fitted new wardrobe screens and interiors to both bedrooms at Western Court, Catton, and locally I’ve replaced 11 interior doors complete at Spencer Avenue.

For a couple of bathroom companies I have fitted a wall infill, shelves and boxing at Westgate Close, re-hung a door (opposite hand) at Chapel Street, Barford, and formed a new cupboard at Borton Road, Blofield Heath.

The busy month ended with the sale of my old van, and an eager wait for the delivery of the new one on May 1st!

March 2019 update

This month started with shooting in and hanging a pre-finished oak door to a shower room in Lyng, and removing a cupboard brick wall and fitting new studwork to form a large shower enclosure for a bathroom in Anne Close, Thorpe St Andrew.

My main work has been the complete revamp of a kitchen at Merton Road, Watton. This involved a full strip out, new wiring, new ceiling, and a complete replastering before even fitting the new kitchen units and worktops and appliances. This leaves just the finishing touches to be completed in April.

February update

Work continues to be very busy, and I am very pleased with the amount of new enquiries about future projects including a number of replacement kitchens and a couple of extensions.

The finishing touches and wall tiling have completed the new kitchen at Hawthorne Rise in Mundesley.

I work regularly with Simon Butler (bathroom fitter & plumber) and have completed a couple of jobs for him this month, including replacement worktops, sink, hob & extractor at Church Lane, Eaton, and rehanging a bathroom door (opposite hand) at Swaffham Bulbeck (near Cambridge!)

St Francis’s church on the Heartsease have had a day of curtain poles and odd jobs. I have also completed flooring repairs, cutting back the bottom of a staircase and fitting a new newel post and handrails at Ranworth Road, Blofield Heath, and I’ve fitted door lining, stops, oak door and architrave at Summer Drive, Hoveton, as well as altering drains at Sunningdale and fitting wardrobe doors to a cupboard in Christchurch Road for a Norwich bathroom and kitchen company.
